Who can join?
Both men and women Anyone who has wondered what it’s like to sing with a choir Anyone who thinks they can’t sing, but, could be pleasantly surprised Anyone who is looking for a new way to relieve daily stresses Anyone who has not sung for a long time and wants to start again Anyone who already sings elsewhere and wants to broaden their experience Anyone who wants to get out more and meet new friends.
Do I need to be able to read music?
Absolutely not. Some members cannot read a note whilst others are very experienced Our MD & Accompanist are very skilled at leading new singers Whatever your music ability, you are welcome.
Have I got to be auditioned?
There is no formal audition.
What kind of music does the choir sing?
We enjoy singing a wide spectrum of music including arrangements from the shows, traditional secular and popular music, folk songs and spirituals.
Are you connected with a church?
No. We are a non sectarian choir although many of our concerts are performed in churches and we do occasionally sing at masses and weddings.
Where does the choir rehearse?
Tuesday evenings 7.30-9.30pm at Hedingham Baptist Church, 177 Swan Street, Sible Hedingham. CO9 3PX
